The Simpsons - Edgar Allan Poe: The Raven
_Here I opened wide the door!_ _Darkness there. And nothing more_ I love that part.
This is actually where I first heard "highway to hell" when I was a little kid!
"Great!" 👍
Bubba bubbapant: I found this book I think I should read it once upon a time there was a little girl named Odette who was turned into a swan she was a good ballet dancer Odette falling in love with a prince and there was a black raven who said... Kickin chicken: eat my shorts! Bubba bubbapant: kickin she didn't say eat my shorts she said that girl is a swan I am the Black swan The Prince and Odette seen the rue the black swan odette started dancing rue said what's this Odette said I cannot speak words of love to you but I can dance. Picky piggy: wow is that a ballet story? Bubba bubbapant: I think so I'll continue on with the story Odette said surely I can communicate these feelings for that as well rue said so you want to convince your love by dance thereby keeping yourself from vanishing huh are there any interesting one I wonder who's dance will charm the hard shard. Bobby bearhug: wait a second doesn't the swan The Prince and the Black swan look familiar? Bubba bubbapant: now that I think about it they are familiar with that is purple and has cat ears the prince is orange and has dog ears the prince is a dog and the Black swan is actually White with some cayn hair wait they really do look familiar they look a lot like catnap dogday and craftycorn! Hoppy hopscotch: really?! Bubba bubbapant: I think so!
Can we give notice to Dan Castellaneta as Homer and absolutely nailing the part
“Take thy beak from OUT my heart! And take thy FORM... from OFF. MY. DOOR!!” 3:36
3:09 Phineas: Okay, Pikachu and Eevee, Let's relax for a bit period. (Sees Doodlebob) and Doodlebob, If I see you sitting in my decorative table, I'll take off your wings.
Trump will be going downstairs
2:35 "Eat my shorts!" 🤣🤣🤣
0:52 Flaming Hot Hellfire Stairway To Hell

.no way, the raven actually said "Eat my shorts!"
Everyone harping on about James Earl Jones (rightfully so) but MAN Dan Castellanetta killing it in the delivery of these lines
Anyone here after watching 'the fall of the house of usher'
Nevermore WHY YOU LITTLE!!
I'm watching this for my poetry project for english. Important research
Masterful adaptation...
Are we not getting nna talk about how homer straight denied lisa heaven? Like bruh
Gotta love Edgar Allen Poe🙏
Scary
The Simpsons is to Poe what Bugs Bunny is to classical music.
Lisa was about to go to heaven but Homer pulled her down.
Привет Лиза🤗
❤❤❤
Феня привет😊
я тебя нашёл
What episode was this?
The 1st Simpsons Halloween special. If you want to know the true Poe... Read and memorize Annabelle Lee 🌃🌹💀🌛🌛🔥
When they see the apocalypse I can’t fathom why Marge asked Bart if he’s wearing clean underwear what does that have to do with getting into Heaven, to get into Heaven you have to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ which is who I believe in.
Like Ned and his family, I only hope that I’m saved from suffering the rapture’s meaning.
the way he says perched and SAT still ends me
Says it with such conviction 😂

Best reading!
They call it the 7 year tribulation
A raven at door although is spring winter still at my door 😂😅
I just finished watching ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’ on Netflix, and when I realised it was based on short stories and poems by Edgar Allen Poe, this was the first video I thought of As a kid over 30 years ago watching this masterful tale with an amazing interpretation by the Simpsons. It was because of this, I loved the works of Edgar Allen Poe.
Same!!!!❤
I've been waiting for the poem to begin ... didn't realise that this silly cartoon IS the poem - not for me. Thank goodness for Alan Rickman ............
This is a terrible story!
The raven is a manifestation of his grief for Lenore, it probably only existed in his head, which is why it says nevermore (he'll never stop grieving). It's actually a masterpiece
Poe really tied this together with his "Oh you little!" Line
This was my first proper intro into poetry and I now do English at Cambridge
2:34
James earl jones should narrate everything
Episode: Treehouse of Horror (Season 2, Episode 3)
Where do you think you're going Missy.
"Never more..."
Perched and SAT
Homer rage-shouting the lines of The Raven is a gift from the god of creation.
